Feminine Rising is a seven part masterclass exploring Kabbalah, the Jewish calendar, embodiment and women's wisdom within Judaism. This piece is the story of making it and nearly not releasing it. All seven written episodes are in this library.
A year ago, a major Jewish media fund, SHARE asked me to film a Masterclass Mini Series.
It took me a long time just to walk into the studio… I was so unready.
Plus my own teacher, Sarah Yehudit Schneider - the woman who has been teaching this for forty years - was filming her masterclass with them too. Who was I to sit in that same chair?
I did it anyway.
Then the edits landed in my inbox… and that’s where they have been for six months.
It will never feel ready. Launch it anyway woman!!!
When I finally watched it back, I CRINGED. I could not actually share this… but I realized that if we hold our work, our voice, our ideas, our gifts until the cringe disappears - we’ll hold them forever.
So you launch while your hands are still shaking. (Like me rn.)
That’s the only way it ever goes out into the world.
And whatever your mission is - stop making it about you.
Lately I’ve talked to so many wildly talented women who are “creatively constipated” (sorry, but it works). Too scared and self-conscious to put themselves out there. And I recognize her - because she’s me on half my days.
But here’s what I tell her: you’ve made it about you, when it was supposed to be about the one person on the other side who needs it.
If even one of them benefits, you’ve done your job.
And if you’re in a season where you’re looking for clarity, direction, or someone to help you reconnect to your purpose, that’s work I love doing.

The feminine side of Judaism - the wisdom so many women were never taught - feels like mine to carry. So today, I’m finally taking my own advice.
